Swipe Right for Diversity
Three years after Pandora made its first head of diversity hire and started to focus on its diversity and inclusion efforts, it announced public, measurable, diversity goals. By the year 2020, the company aims to grow its underrepresented employees of color from 35% to 45%, achieve promotion parity, and reflect diversity externally across its business. This lunch & learn aims to shed light on the steps that the company, or rather, the employees, took to get to that point, how to make the case for diversity, and how setting goals is actually the “easy” part.
Topics we'll explore:
- What’s currently working for your company?
- What do you “wish” you had, and what’s preventing you from getting that?
- What has been challenging about setting measurable diversity goals?
- What role do you see yourself playing?
- What does your potential map of influence look like?
